Would you buy a book with a worth of more than $1000 dollars? Amazon just bought a J.K. Rowling authored book entitled The Tales of Beedle the Bard. The handwritten book of Beedle the Bard, just happened at Sotheby’s in London, and the lucky winner walked away with the item for the bargain price of 1,950,000 pounds, or nearly $4 million. Amazon is well known as the no.1 and the largest online book retail store. Millions of people is asking why did Amazon bought such an expensive book? If I am not mistaken the Beedle the Bard has been mentioned at the end part of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Maybe that’s why Amazon grab this expensive special J.K. Rowling book. Let’s just watch out for an Amazon movie production “The Tales of Beedle the Bard“.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard was perfectly handwritten by J.K. Rowling herself. Bound in brown leather and decorated with a silver skull and moonstones.
