Wordpress 2.1.2 patch

It seems wordpress isn’t secure after all, they just found out that a cracker got control of their system and created a security exploit to their newly released 2.1.1 patch. Here’s a word from the dev team at Wordpress.

This morning we received a note to our security mailing address about unusual and highly exploitable code in WordPress. The issue was investigated, and it appeared that the 2.1.1 download had been modified from its original code. We took the website down immediately to investigate what happened.

So, if you happened to get the WP 2.1.1 patch, you better download the latest one. Get Wordpress 2.1.2!
