9/11 - September 11, 2001 attacked was full of mystery. Some says it’s a conspiracy theory, for some it was an urban legend, but more believed it was a terrorist plot.

There are of course many puzzling circumstances surrounding the 9/11 attacks, virtually all of them compiled and analyzed in a recent book by two British authors, “9/11 Revealed: The Unanswered Questions.” In their skillful survey of “alternative scenarios,” Rowland Morgan and Ian Henshall sow many doubts about the official version of 9/11. How did so many of the hijackers gain valid entry into the U.S? Why were they so free to operate? Why were the country’s air defenses not triggered after the hijacked planes veered off course? In what ways did the Pakistani and Saudi governments assist the hijackers? Were the hijackers in the U.S. for another purpose and then double-crossed their U.S. sponsors in a classic, if horrible, case of blowback? Via alternet.org

Conspiracy theorists fly into a curious panic whenever the Pentagon missile is mentioned. They nervously maintain that the plane was vapourised by it’s exploding fuel load, and point to the WTC crash as evidence of this behavior. That’s a wonderful fruit loop. Like an insect which has just been sprayed, running back and forth in its last mad death throes, they first argue that the reason the hole is so small is that the plane never entered the wall, having blown up outside, and then suddenly backflip to explain the 250 foot deep missile hole by saying that the plane disappeared all the way into the building, and then blew up inside the building - even though the building shows no sign of such damage. As for what happened to the wings - here’s where they get really creative. The wings snapped off and folded into the fuselage which then carried them into the building, which then closed up behind the plane like a piece of meat. Via planetquo.com

FBI agents Colleen Rowley (Minneapolis), Kenneth Williams (Phoenix), and Robert Wright (Chicago), amongst others, have courageously come forward with evidence that their superiors derailed promising investigations that might have foiled the 9/11 attacks. While on the trail of terrorists, why were capable field agents blocked, thwarted, intimidated and undermined by their superiors at FBI headquarters? Surely claims of incompetence and inefficient bureaucracy is missing the point. At a recent press conference, Larry Klayman of Judicial Watch has even suggested possible treason. On September 11, 2001 .The attack occured. The morning of the attack George Bush Sr. is meets with members of the Carlyle Group in Washington. Bin Laden’s own brother is at the meeting. Members of the Bin Laden family are allowed to leave the U.S. without questioning two days later. Via cbc.ca
