The LG KG800 Chocolate has a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera which is capable of taking pictures with a maximum resolution of 1280×960. The first thing you notice when you enter the camera mode and take your first picture is that the camera is quite slow to use. You have to hold the camera very steady for a couple of seconds to be sure that your picture ain’t just a blurry mess. The LG KG800 Chocolate is quite good in night mode thanks to a small built-in light and low noise level.

Coming in pastel blue, pink, and green, the Samsung SGH-E870 may not be targeted directly at females, but it’s pointed in their general direction. The clamshell comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, GSM/GPRS, 80MB of internal memory, microSD/Transflash and an external TFT LCD so you can see who’s calling—hopefully that broad.

The O2 Ice was actually the phone that was the inspiration to this article. It’s a small stylish 3G phone that has the usual built-in MP3 player, 1.3 megapixel camera, bluetooth etc. It’ll be out in September in the UK for around $200.

The Talby is a quite old phone. It was first shown as a product concept back in 2003 and garnered a lot of attention during a couple of years. The Tably is available in three colors, hornet green, orange orange and hole black. The Talby is only available in Japan.

The Samsung SGH E900 combines both shiny and matte black materials for an elegant look. The keypad also features two vertical metallic lines in the keypad for a more sophisticated look. At a mere 16.5 mm in thickness and weighing only 93g, the E900 provides its users a slim and compact form that perfectly fits in the palm and easy to slide up.

The Hitachi W42H is a CDMA 1x WIN terminal meant for Japan. Having a clamshell design (regular readers will note that most handsets bound for Japan have this design, seems the folks in the East prefer this to anything else). Owing to its clamshell design, the handset ejoys dual displays. The primary display is of 2.4 inches and has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA display).
